Order Our Days in Thy Peace

After a troubled night's sleep in some ways, I woke with these words of the Hanc igitur in my mind and on my lips as a prayer:

Diesque nostros in tua pace disponas,
atque ab æterna damnatione nos eripi,
et in electorum tuorum jubeas grege numerari.
Per Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen.

Grant us your your peace in this life,
save us from final damnation,
and count us among those you have chosen.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
[old ICEL]

Order our days in your peace,
and command that we be delivered from eternal damnation
and counted among the flock of those you have chosen.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
[new ICEL]

Order thou our days in thy peace,
and bid us to be delivered from eternal damnation,
and to be numbered in the fold of thine elect.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
[BDW, Anglican Use]

An obviously excellent and very pertinent prayer! I thank the Lord for His inspiration...
